Condado Introduce
Condado, located in the Brownsville neighborhood of Brooklyn, is a dedicated local eatery that serves the community with a blend of Spanish restaurant and Coffee shop offerings. This establishment focuses on providing traditional, hearty comfort food throughout the day, catering to customers looking for authentic flavors and substantial meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The menu strongly reflects a specialization in Dominican cuisine, presenting dishes that are staples in Latin American households.
The foundation of Condado's appeal lies in its authentic meal selections. A major highlight is the Desayunos Dominicano (Dominican Breakfast) menu, which prominently features the renowned 3 Golpes Con Mangu Desayuno ($$12.00$). The term "Tres Golpes" or "Three Hits" traditionally refers to mashed green plantains (Mangu) served alongside three hearty, fried sides: fried cheese (queso frito), fried salami, and fried eggs. This classic offering represents a deep commitment to cultural authenticity and is available in both a full portion ($$12.00$) and a smaller portion ($$8.00$). Additionally, the breakfast menu includes warming beverages like Small Avena ($$3.00$), a comforting oatmeal drink.
Beyond breakfast, the menu is expansive, focusing on generous portions of grilled and fried meats paired with traditional sides. The Especial De La Casa (House Specials) includes various combinations of chicken, such as the 1 Pollo Con Tostones Y Ensalada ($$22.00$), featuring a whole chicken with crispy plantain chips and a salad. Patrons seeking lighter or quicker options can choose from a robust list of Hot and Cold Sandwiches, including the classic Cubano Sandwich ($$12.00$) and the flavorful Dominican street sandwiches, the Chimi De Cerdo Sandwich ($$9.00$). The restaurant also provides traditional Soups, featuring staples like Sopa De Pollo ($$7.00$), Sancocho ($$6.00$), and Mondongo ($$6.00$).
It is important for prospective patrons to note that the dining experience, as indicated by recent customer feedback, can be variable. While certain menu items like rice and roast pork have been acknowledged as long-time favorites, other reviews have highlighted concerns regarding food presentation, preparation (e.g., hard sausage, soggy French toast), and quality control (an issue with coffee). Condado is a local neighborhood fixture known for its menu of classic Dominican comfort foods, and users should manage expectations regarding food consistency based on recent public comments while appreciating the depth of its cultural menu.

breakfast
★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I ordered a coffee with milk with my breakfast and i took a sip of it, something long and slimy was in my mouth from the coffee. I called and make a complaint about it and all they did was try to make excuses for why something is In my coffee. Try to send me a new one but why would I trust it.. I hope I don’t get sick from this and I will never order from this place again.. didn’t even give me my money back
May 22 · Arthea BennettBreakfast was a disaster they put all my food together in one plate which made my French toast soggy as hell, sausage Patty was so hard I could bust someone’s lip with it, mind you I’ve been eating the rice and peas and roast pork for the longest, breakfast is a fail, had to put the French toast in the oven to try and save them
August 04 · Evelyn QuinonesFries were drenched in grease, chicken smelled bad, they sent and charged us two extra sandwiches we didn't order, and they forgot to send one of the sandwiches we did order. The order was read back to us correctly over the phone but the receipt had extra things on it and we were charged for them. Don't go here. Bad food, bad service.
