★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The food overall was decent, but what really stood out to me was the excellent service and the welcoming atmosphere. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure I had everything I needed throughout my visit, which made the dining experience even better. For my meal, I ordered the Big Kissimmee Breakfast, which came with two fluffy pancakes, two savory sausage links, three perfectly cooked eggs, and two crispy strips of bacon. It was a hearty and satisfying portion that left me full without being overwhelming. The pancakes were light and flavorful, while the bacon and sausage added a nice savory balance. The overall vibe of the restaurant was inviting, with a comfortable and relaxed setting that made it a great place to enjoy a meal. While breakfast was filling and enjoyable, I'm especially looking forward to returning to try their lunch and dinner options, as the menu has a lot of dishes that caught my eye.I'd definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for good service, a pleasant atmosphere, and a satisfying meal.
October 03 · shavonta gaynorFirst time in Kissimmee, Florida, en route to the Everglades — the adventure we had planned for the day — but before diving into the wetlands, we made a spontaneous stop for breakfast/brunch and landed at Matador Tacos and Tapas Bar. Let me just say: this was one of the best decisions we made on the trip. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with genuine hospitality and a cozy yet modern atmosphere. The bar area is adorable, with rustic wood touches, hanging lights, and a vibe that makes you want to sit and sip something refreshing — even if it’s only 10 a.m.The food? Incredible. Bursting with flavor, made from fresh ingredients, and clearly crafted with love. I ordered a Latin-style breakfast dish that tasted like something straight from abuela’s kitchen. My travel partner tried their breakfast tacos and couldn’t stop raving about them. Every bite was comforting, flavorful, and satisfying. One of the staff mentioned they have live music on the weekends, and I could just imagine how magical the place must feel in the evening. It’s the kind of spot where locals gather and travelers feel lucky to discover. Also worth noting — plenty of parking, clean restrooms, fast service, and family-friendly. Whether you’re looking for a quick bite or a place to linger, Matador checks all the boxes. If you’re traveling through Central Florida, especially on your way to the Everglades, Disney, or any of the nearby parks, don’t skip Matador. It’s the kind of local spot you wish you had back home.I can’t wait to return — and next time, I’m staying for dinner and drinks under the weekend lights.
May 18 · Hazel VelasquezThe decor is fun and eclectic. There was so much to look at while our order was being prepared that the time flew by. The waiter was very attentive and made suggestionsWhen we asked about the preparation, he was very well-versed. We ordered a seafood paella for two and tostones as our appetizer. Both arrived hot and quickly. Although we would have liked more seafood in it, the paella was delicious. The rice was cooked just right; not over/under-done nor was it too dry/soupy with good flavors, not salty. They sometimes have live entertainment or karaoke. The evening we went they didn't. They had classic soul music softly playing. An overall very enjoyable dinner. Highly recommended.
January 11 · Toi BarretoOmg! My daughter and I discovered this place today and had to try it for lunch! The food came out quick, hot and delicious. Our server Juan was super nice and very attentive! The decor was, of course, Matador theme with a small stage that I'm guessing they use for live entertainment in the evenings. We will definitely be back with the whole family!
July 20 · Ayuana TyagiCame here for a girls night and we didn’t have the greatest time. The food was okay. Our waiter wasn’t confident about any of her answers to our questions. It was always “ I think or let me double check” . The drinks weren’t so great ether. It sucks because I would always walk by this place and fall for the outside. The crowds that come here seem to be a much older crowd. The ambiance is okay. The food here is not authentic Mexican. Please don’t fall for the way it looks outside like we did!
