★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Chic Ambiance and Must-Try Tapas! We visited Boqueria W40th for a slightly delayed weekend brunch and were seated immediately, which was a nice start. The atmosphere here is truly a highlight—very chic, vibrant, and thoroughly enjoyable. It sets a fantastic scene for a New York brunch or tapas experience. Our server was excellent: polite, friendly, and clearly knowledgeable about the menu, guiding us through the tapas-style offerings. For starters, we were highly impressed with the tapas. The Kale Salad was very nice and refreshing; while it lacked a bit of crunch, the delicious cheese component more than made up for it. The absolute star of the meal, however, was the Mushroom Croquets. With its perfectly crunchy exterior and the wonderfully cheesy, truffle aioli filling, it was a thoroughly flavorful delight that truly won us over!Hoping for another hit, I ordered the single-serve Seafood Paella. Unfortunately, this dish was a bit disappointing. Although the flavor profile was there (and improved with a pinch of salt), the iron skillet it was served in had excessive charring—it felt almost burnt in parts, making some of the rice nearly inedible. While the rice texture might have been intentionally al dente, the char was distracting and meant the dish ultimately didn’t meet expectations.Overall: Boqueria is a fantastic spot for the atmosphere and those incredible tapas (seriously, order the croquetas!). The service is top-notch. If you stick to their strong small plates, you will have a wonderful meal.
September 27 · Sajed Ahammad SamiWe went last night pre movie and were seated immediately . I loved everything especially the fast , friendly efficient service . Only issue, vwe sat outside in the enclosed courtyard and it was very noisy a lot of the time with people talking . There's a fantastic selection of reasonably priced tapas dishes and the ones we had were delicious ( not amazing but arrived fast!) . Would go back definately .
September 27 · Paul PerroneBoqueria is absolutely phenomenal. From the aesthetic & ambiance, menu selection, to superb service. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, without being overbearing. We tried about 11 dishes and every single one was amazing. Bobbi was the best part of the evening; her bubbly personality and laughter helped make my friend's birthday even more special (and shout out to the birthday churros). I cannot recommend this place enough! I will definitely come back the next time I'm in the city.
