- Whole Basque Cake $60.00
Butter cake with rum pastry cream baked into the center - with an almond crust. Serves 10 generous slices or 12 modest ones.
- Burnt Basque Cheescake $60.00
A high temp at the start of the bake creates an intentional burnt outside. Serves 10 generous slices or 12 modest ones.
- Spanish Tortilla $16.00
Our take on the Tortilla Española is a fluffy - souffle like omelette, with potato. Salt cod brandade baked on top, with a pickled fennel and shallot salad.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Lindsey really made this a 10/10 dining experience for me! She had great recommendations and all of items were timed perfectly for me as a solo diner. My favorites were the anchovies with salted butter, shrimp gazpacho and tortilla espanola. The sangria was just strong enough and not overly sweet. They have a great wine list and I’ll try out some cocktails next time. In terms of ambiance, it’s a very small restaurant that’s perfect for a solo dinner or date night.
July 07 · Chris BonnettFIDEO JUST GO GET THE FIDEO. But seriously that was unbelievably delicious and unique. Every piece of seafood was cooked to perfection. The cream sauce was rich without being heavy. The server was very knowledgeable about the food and liquor. My partner got a martini and said it was the best one he has ever had!! I love how quaint it is. You really feel like you're in someone's home. I highly recommend :)
April 25 · Julia McMahonThe best Spanish restaurant I tried in Chicago area. We really enjoyed good seafood dishes. The service and vibe were also fantastic — highly recommended!
June 18 · Ryu MatsuuraMaybe it was an off-night or perhaps our expectations weren't realistic, but the food itself did not deliver. My wife and I hadn't been to the restaurant in a number of years, but were excited to go back. Service and atmosphere were both fine, although there was a mix-up with a "bar" vs. "chef counter" table (which we didn't even know existed), but food itself feel flat. We were offered a complimentary glass of Cava to celebrate our anniversary, which was thoughtful. The menu was great, but execution was off. Portion size was an overall challenge. The Suzuki crudo was microscopic for $16, and the tostada was soggy and a bit stale, the blinis were forgettable and also tiny, the boquerones and anchovies were not memorable. Moving onto second portion of the menu, the tortilla was solid, as we remembered, but again, with the croquettes, nothing memorable and lacking flavor. Again, all portions are small for the price. Lastly, we had the skirt steak, which was overcooked. The basque cake was too dry for me. Overall, a fun night, but a disappointing food experience. A good spot to drink, but even after ordering most of the menu, I left hungry and unsatisfied.
October 06 · Jeremy ChapmanThe ambience was great. Sangria had too much juice in it, it was so sweet, like dessert wine. The food was overpriced for what it was, very underwhelming. Service was impeccable. However, for me, the food in the restaurant is the most important thing and it was disappointing.
