Madre Tierra Deli Introduce
For New York locals seeking a truly authentic, multi-cultural culinary experience on Long Island, Madre Tierra Deli in Port Jefferson Station offers a refreshing and unique destination. It is the perfect example of a local "hole in the wall" gem, a counter-serve style eatery where the focus is squarely on the quality and taste of the food.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1It's one of those hole in the wall places you just go for the food. The best tacos we have had since leaving Southern California . It is a small Deli, counter serve style with 3 tables to sit.The food was excellent. The tacos, quesadilla, and Papusas everything was freshly prepared and hot. The meats are succulent and juicy. It's not very cheap, but the quality and taste of the food are well worth it.
February 03 · Susan MehrotraVery over priced 14.00 for a plate of rice and the drinks in the fridge are warm
October 03 · Fidel IrizarryVery overpriced and pork pupusas made me feel sick usually a good spot but quality has gone downhill lately
May 10 · Oscar BenitezCozy area, and delicious dishes thus far; my having chicken empanadas, rice-beans-plantains, and as well, they sell a great assortment of other things. So you can stop in for your next favorite candy you never knew you'd love, or some common snacks like Doritos, and a coke.Whatever floats, but what I'm saying about it is, I like it.I think maybe it's definitely worth checking out, it not for just that store, the others in that area, and shopping center.Happy exploring.
June 26 · Michael KnightModerately priced for a solid portion. Chicken was pretty good. Rice was adequate. Utensils were very weak and it was difficult to pierce the chicken with the fork. Main issue is that there are no prices listed. You do not know how much things will cost until you are rung up. I paid $9.
